I am the Director of Emerging Technologies within Libraries & Cultural Resources at the University of Calgary, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A professional librarian for over 30 years, I’ve held positions in Reference, Document Delivery, and Technology Services at universities in the United States and Canada. In my current role I work within the Centre for AI Ethics Literacy and Integrity (CAIELI) at the U of Calgary, and focus on the use of chatbots for library reference services, and AI literacy for library staff and university students. I serve as the faculty/librarian advisor for the Student Advisory Panel within CAIELI.
