I haven’t followed the links on this page, but it certainly looks like a valuable resource. I am familiar with a half dozen of the tools mentioned, and unfortunately some of the information on this page pertaining to those is erroneous (price, product name, etc). That’s probably just an indication of how fast this area changes (the original page is from April 2004)

Great article! I looked over many of the products, there is good and bad about each of them. Found too many limitations in most of them. iMediaConvert seems to do a great job for not so much dollars. I found it discounted at http://www.powersystemsdirect.com/iMediaSoft/iMediaCONVERT_Standard_PC_Standalone_Powerpoint_Flash_1507.php and it seems to work great for me!
