Rain, rain, go away…

It’s been raining here lately.  A lot.  Pretty much hasn’t stopped enough for the sidewalk to dry since last Thursday or so.  One of the things I do here at the U of C is warm the seat over lunch at our MADGIC desk (Maps, Academic Data, Geographic Information Centre), so I get to see lots of really cool maps that I otherwise wouldn’t.  Here’s a link that shows accumulated precipitation for the Province over the past few days: Alberta River Basins Precipitation Maps – Alberta Environment.  Could be worse I guess – I could be in Pincher Creek!
